I have an encrypted Mac OS Extended volume in which I store my most sensitive passwords. (It is *not* NTFS!)
If I mount the volume from my own account, I get full read/write access to the contents. However, I've just mounted the volume from my wife's account and I only get read only access. Railway riders mac os. Under Sharing & Permissions, it says 'You can only read'.

The permissions box below that is greyed out (even when I unlock the padlock). Galaxy conquest mac os. And unchecking 'Ignore ownership on this volume' simply changes read-only to 'no access'.

Does anyone know how to get read and write access to this volume? (And incidentally, why isn't it read & write access in the first place?)
Texas hold em pro. I've ran First Aid on the volume and it checks out fine, and makes no difference.
Any ideas?
